Across the Universe - The Beatles

"Across the Universe" 是由英國民謠搖滾團體 Beatles 披頭四演唱,成員John Lennon 所寫的歌曲,這首歌首次出現在1969年12月,在英國發行的一張眾星雲集,為慈善基構募款的唱片合輯 "No One's Gonna Change Our World" 中,所得將捐給世界野生動物基金會 (the World Wildlife Fund),之後,這首歌又以不同的形式,於1970年5月8日收錄在 Beatles 披頭四的第十二張,也是他們的最後一張唱片 Let It Be 專輯中.

"Across the Universe" 這首歌,跨越多個年代,出現數十種版本,  知名的歌手/樂團/樂手像是 David Bowie, Roger Waters, Cyndi Lauper, Fiona Apple, Rufus Wainwright, John Butler Trio, Bill Frisell, Scorpions 等都曾讓這首經典作品再次重現,其受歡迎的程度可見一斑.

2002年,加拿大裔美國創作歌手Rufus Wainwright 重新演唱了這首歌,並收錄在美國電影" I Am Sam"他不笨,他是我爸爸的電影原聲帶中( bonus track),歌曲也出現在美國電視影集  "FlashForward"超時空感應的第六季中.
